  Damn, I hate the secrecy!

  i really hate the secrecy in jw's ...i felt like the low man on the totem pole even though i was a pioneer.

  the big important men decide things behind closed doors and you can't know anything.

  i can understand why someone said it was a pediphile's paradise, or anyone's who done really bad things.

  I really hate the secrecy in JW's ...I felt like the low man on the totem pole even though I was a pioneer. The Big Important Men decide things behind closed doors and you can't know anything. I can understand why someone said it was a pediphile's paradise, or anyone's who done really bad things. Everyone sits at the meeting pretending to be perfect. Hated that. Then they tell you to shun someone and you're not allowed to know or ask what they even did... But then I'm only a woman.....

  any one done some research on the above from a non jw view:.

  some points of view suggest that at some point all the barriers that prohibit movement between the physical world and the spritual will be removed and that glorified bodies will allow us to materialize and dematerialize at will and to transfer as it were between the various dimensions that exist in our universe and beyond, and in this sense "god brings together all things in christ, both things on the earth and things in the heavens" and also in this sense new jerusalem comes down from heaven and god himself resides with them".. and so in this way also will those who dwell in the heavens enjoy access to the physical world in order to enjoy the whole of creation including the animal world.. .

  any other points view ??.

  as i said in another thread, most of them started partaking the emblems after 1935. that's a clear sign that there's a corrosion of the "remnant" doctrine, because now most of the governing body are considered "replacements" of 'anointed ones who have fallen away'.

  you've heard about jesus.. you've choosen to believe or not to believe.. you've accepted jesus or you haven't.. let's say jesus came down now for his people.what would you do or say to jesus if you now know he is true?

  (keeping in mind that god is the judge and some people will go to heaven and most will burn in hell!!).

  i will say that the "evidence" for a drastic change in mankinds history (end of the world, the great day of god the almighty, what ever you want to call it) seems likely when doing a survey of where mankind is a the current point in time.

  nuclear weapons, wars, technology, globalization, and ecological destruction all seem to point towards a place that mankind has never been before.

  mankind is unquestionably in a position differant from any point in human history.

  Dear Jake99, and friends... There is something very strange about the Bush administration. There is a certain wickedness about it that is unmatched. I'm a certain that he is not a true person of Christ and therefore a major player of the antiChrist's. He seems to fit into prophesies of the end very well. In Rev. 13:11 NIV.....it says: "Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon." Seems like the Britain, America duo to me. 2 horns meaning, it contains 2 kings. Another sign of the end to me.

  Well, I definately agree with you. How can God let the world go on much longer.??...also think we are in the Great Tribulation..and it's all wrapping up. I think what the brother said about "billions being destroyed" , is just a JW way of looking at it. I'm sure that however Jesus judges it will very just and righteous and not at all the way JW's portray it. When the bible talks of the dead, dying, etc., it is probably symbolic talk..of a spiritual death. But we know the bad won't be able to live forever. Adam and Eve were sentence to death but still lived out under a thousand years. Very merciful on God's part really..

  isaiah 65 v 20 something does say "or an old man who does not live out his years" so surely that means for the witnesses using that scripture, there isn't everlasting life?

The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. but be glad and rejoice FOREVER in what i will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and it's people a joy....the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more."

  Word FOREVER is there...and the rest is almost exactly like Rev. 21

  Hey there....my opinion is the Is. 65 is one of many scriptures that have a minor and a major fullfillment... It had a fullfillment when they were being released from captivity and will have a fullfillment again in the future when the new heavens and new earth are finally here as recorded in Rev. 21:1-4....
